About the Role

Permanent academic appointment in the Faculty of Technology at the University of Colombo, with preferred expertise in AI, IoT, Machine Learning, or Big Data Analytics; closing August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Environmental Technology and related disciplines
Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and theses
Conduct and publish original research in relevant subject areas
Develop and review curriculum in collaboration with faculty
Participate in academic committees and professional development activities

Requirements

Relevant academic qualifications in Environmental Technology or related field (PhD preferred for Senior Lecturer)
Expertise in AI, IoT, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Computer Simulation, or Modelling is advantageous
Strong research and publication record (for Senior Lecturer)
