Lecturer (On Contract) – Department of Accounting and Finance

About the Role

Contract lecturing position in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Open University of Sri Lanka, covering teaching and academic duties in distance education mode.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and academic support for accounting and finance courses
• Develop and update course materials, assignments and assessments
• Conduct and supervise student academic activities
• Engage in academic research relevant to the department
• Support the department's distance and open learning programs

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification (Masters or PhD) in Accounting, Finance or closely related field
• Relevant academic or professional experience in accounting/finance
• Proficiency in Sinhala and/or Tamil and English
• Sri Lankan citizenship
